When people think of hype, upbeat musical ensembles, they will typically think of bands. But this piece, Flexin’ is meant to change their perspective! Flexin’ is an energetic piece that will have musicians young and old moving in their seats. It’s an orchestral hype piece that can be played on the concert stage and beyond. This is the type of piece that can be played at pep rallies, assemblies, celebratory events, and more! There is a prep page for a swing / improvisation section that includes a bass line, chord stacks, and rhythmic variations for all instruments. A written solo is provided, and students can improvise  over the changes in A minor.
