Featuring a raised fist of multiple skin tones set in front of the American civil rights hymn, “We Shall Overcome,” we hope this can serve as a symbol of pride and solidarity for Black, Indigenous, Latin/Hispanic, Asian, and other BIPOC identifying students and musicians and all those who work to dismantle the systems of discrimination and racism. With many working purposefully to bring more culturally diverse music experiences into our classrooms, we want to emphasize that culturally diverse *people* are also needed, welcome, and valued.
