Afro-Latin and Caribbean Music

Each region of Latin America is home to unique musical styles and cultures. While the majority of Latin/Hispanic students in the US identify as Mexican, that may not be the case if you teach near the Eastern coast. This session specifically explores Afro-Latin and Caribbean music, which may speak more specifically to students and families from Puerto Rico, Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Panama, and others.
